K2 Super Stinx Telemark Ski - 2006

The K2 Super Stinx telemark ski performs well in all conditions, from hardpack to spring corn. It returns for 2005-2006 with a modified sidecut for slicing and dicing with even more precision. A 16mm sidecut (112/70/97) gives the Super Stinx incredible accuracy and carving power. With a wider (112mm) shovel, the Super rips soft snow and crud with ease. The 70mm underfoot makes for easy edge-to-edge transfers, resulting in quicker turns. Designed to be skied full-throttle, this season's graphics are Formula 1 ready. This ski features pre-drilled binding inserts, which are similar to snowboard insert technology. The hole pattern is the same as the G3 Targa series, Black Diamond 02/03, all Voile Hardwire bindings, and Rottefella Cobra R8 and R6. With K2 telemark, you're always ahead of the competition. *Available for US shipment only.

Oh my, these skiis are a joy. It's so easy to ski them, it's like cheating. You can float thru the powder or cut thru the crud with ease.

What a grat ski! I am on my second season with the same skis and they are still full of life. When I look at some of the other new skis out there they look a little skinny, but still, they serve me well both in and out of bounds. Know the one, get the ski!

Super Duper

I borrowed a pair of these Super Stinx that we use as demos from the shop I work at because my skis are temporarily out of commission (binding issues). There was about a foot of new snow at the mountain I ski, and I was kind of bummed because I thought the Super Stinx looked like toothpicks compared to my Atomic TM EX’s. I’m impressed with how the TM EX’s ski, but I’m BLOWN AWAY with how the Super Stinx ski, just because I wasn’t expecting such burliness—they handled superbly well in EVERY kind of condition (only on really slick slopes, by UT standards, did they chatter a bit, but that could have been pilot error :) ). These skis just feel so solid underfoot, and they carve as well as they ski powder. I was really AMAZED the whole day, and frankly glad that my regular skis were messed up. The Super Stinx are definitely a do-everything-well ski.

Supers Rule

For those of us that don't have a quiver, this is THE ONE ski to have! If you have the Piste, you'll love the Super even more. It does it all. Perfect dimensions. No changes from '02 to '03. Find last year's cheap and you're set!
