K2 Dawn Patrol Telemark Ski - Women's - 2006
K2's Dawn Patrol is one of the fattest women's telemark ski around, and this is a very good thing. It's a women's-specific ski built for the conditions and terrain you love most—deep, steep powder. The Dawn Patrol's 125 millimeter shovel and 89 millimeter underfoot provides superior float in the deepest pow. In fact, the dimensions are the same as those found on the Work Stinx model. However, the K2 women's test team developed the bio-flex core, which creates a damp, quick-turning, agile ski with light swing weight. The core is composed of fir through the body and falcatta, a tropical red wood, in the tip and tail to create the low swing weight—K2 also added a small strip of bamboo through the falcatta in the tip and tail to add strength and rebound. The reason this core is such a big deal is that only K2's women's skis have it! The Dawn Patrol also has binding mounting inserts, to reduce the time it takes to get the skis from the box to the snow. *Available for US shipment only.
