K2 One Luv Ski w/ Marker M1 11.0 Ti Binding - Women's - 2008

For the advanced or soon-to-be advanced lady skier, the K2 T Nine One Luv Alpine Ski with Marker M1 11 Bindings offers maximum versatility and stability across a broad range of terrain. If you're looking to push your abilities without sacrificing stability or forgiveness, put a little luv in your quiver this season, and you won't look back. The One Luv is one sweet partner in crime: a 74mm waist carves up the groomers and devours the moguls, while the wider tip and tail offer enough float to fly through the fresh stuff as well. The women-specific Bioflex core with MOD Monic and MOD Technology offers an unsurpassed smooth and comfortable ride. Throw the included Marker M1 Bindings into this fine-tuned mix, and you can push your skill envelope more confidently than ever.

Bottom Line: One Luv, one you, and lots and lots of ski runs.

I'm 5'10" and weigh 150 lbs. I'm an advanced-intermediate skier. I live in Colorado so ski all the resorts here in the state. I prefer the long cruising runs and easy bump runs. Looking to buy new skis. Should I go with the 167cm or 163cm? Also, everyone tells me to get the K2 Lotta Luv ski. So many models to choose from...I'm confused. Thanks for your help!!

The Lotta has a slightly bigger waist, making it a little more versatile for days with a couple cm of the fresh stuff. The length is up to you, but I think that for the long cruisers, you will appreciate the longer length's stability. As for which ski, it is up to you if you want that little bit of extra waist width.

The old dog needs some new tricks! I've been on 167cm K2

The old dog needs some new tricks! I've been on 167cm K2 T-Nine flight for 5 years. Absolutely love 'em but it's time to move on! Have done some research & think the K2 One Luv might be for me (the "Lotta Luv" might be more than I can handle or need tho' they're tempting too!). With a change from the 111-70-101 to 118-74-103, should I go to a 156cm or 163cm?

Meagan - try the 153's

By:
February 17, 2009

Hi Meagan - I'm exactly your size and bought the 153's about four years ago. I really recommend you go with something longer (than 146!) if you're on the advanced side of intermediate.

Just over 5'2" and under 110. Spending most days on groomers with little kids, not venturing into bumps. Is the One Luv too much ski? too advanced? Looking at 146cm . . . thanks

This is an excellent quiver of one ski, great on the groomers. Gives you plenty of room for skill development, especially if you go for the 149cm, which will feel a little long at the start but you will be happier with it when the kids advance and you start to venture to higher speeds and more challenging terrain. If you are really looking long term, the 156cm option isn't bad either. My mother skis this ski in the 156, and she is the same height, and only at the most 10 pounds more, and she only skis green and blue runs.
