K2 Duchess Snowboard - Women's - 2008

Whether floating spins in the park or floating through waist-deep powder, the K2 Women's Duchess Snowboard gives female rippers the tools to rule the entire mountain. The slightly longer tip and tail floats effortlessly in the deep stuff, while a Hyper Progressive Sidecut makes the board agile in the trees and super stable when you need speed. The Duchess' Harshmellow layer reduces chatter and vibration, giving you a smooth run-in to jumps and a Cadillac-ride on the groomers. K2 gave the Duchess a new Rhythm WH4 core to cut down on weight and provide vice-like edge hold, and carbon strips for plenty of pop.

This board rocks and that's the bottom line. I spent my first 3 seasons on a K2 Skyla and it was a great learning board but my skillz improved and I knew I needed a bigger board. I was all smiles down the first run in Jan on my new Duchess this past season and still smiling on the last day at Breck going over some monster jumps. It was amazing from dropping off cornices at Vail and A-basin to hitting rails at Kestone and Breck. I can't say enough about this board. It rides so smooth, carves incredibly, and allowed me to step it up a notch or probably two. GO FOR IT!
