Julbo Kola Sunglasses - Kids' - 2007

Julbo made the Kola Sunglasses with high-end Spectron X4 lenses to give kids from ages 3-5 years old the eye protection they need for the harsh summer sun. These are the same lenses that Julbo uses on their top-notch sport sunglasses. Julbo's soft ear pads provide your child with a comfortable fit, and they don't grab hair the way other sunglasses can.

Bottom Line: Julbo proves once again that they take kids' eyewear seriously with the high-quality Kola Sunglasses.

Not sized correctly

We bought a pair for each of our twins and were very unhappy to see how small these sunglasses were. They are supposed to fit children aged 3-5 and they were way TOO small for my not quite 3 year olds. Not only did the entire product fit poorly (the eyepieces bowed outward when we tried to fit around their head) but the nose piece area was very hard plastic and wouldn't sit comfortabley on either one. These may work for children with relatively small for their age heads but I still wonder how comfortable they would sit on the nose. Not impressed at all, especially seeing how expensive they are. We are much happier with sunglasses we found that had similar lenses but were 1/3 the price. Would not recommend these sunglasses.

Way too small

I agree with the previous review. These sunglasses are really small. As stated, they are supposed to fit 3-5 year olds, but these didn't come close to fitting our 2 year old. So rather than have to pay return shipping, we thought we'd try to save them for our 10 month old ... they actually fit him (at least his eyes were centered in the lenses) but the legs then ended up being way too long. So ... I'm not really sure what infant/toddler age I could recommend them for. Overall a poor fit and too expensive, especially after you pay return shipping! Could easily buy 3 pairs of sunglasses (that fit) for your kid for the price of these.
