Julbo Dolgan Large Sunglasses - Spectron X4 Lens

The Julbo Dolgan Large Sunglasses prove that mountaineering eyewear doesn’t have to resemble some outer space insect. With removable side shields and UV-blocking Spectron X4 lenses, the Dolgan gives large faces the eye protection they need in the mountains. The wrap-around profile stays on your face during long summit ridge slogs, and the Spectron lenses shield you from 87% of visual light on blindingly bluebird days.

Bottom Line: Big-mountain eye protection for larger faces.

Great for high altitude sun and snow conditions. Spend 12 hrs at 14K on snow and very sunny conditions. Worked great, no eye strain or fatigue.
Wouldn't recommend them in low light conditions or driving. They really block out the sun, but this is what you want in snow and sun.

fantastic

I bought these right before a 6 day trip into the wind rivers in May. Great for most weather, too dark if it gets really cloudy. fogged up under high exertion, but I used some anti-fog spray once and they haven't fogged up again. Also, I look super pimp in these. I have a big wide head and they fit comfortably and never felt like they were falling off, whether skiing or climbing or chillin.

Look cool but.....

I like them overall but they fog up real quick. Ony used them once and it was not real sunny so....not sure if they are the best for those type conditions. In general they are comfortable, stylish, and functional.
