Joystick Spicolli Ski Pole - 2008

Anthony Boronowski's signature pole sports checks just like Jeff's slip-ons. If that means nothing to you, go watch Fast Times At Ridgemont High immediately. For those who are still here (and we hope that's most of you), you know that Spicolli is a legendary role model to chilled-out dudes and babes everywhere, and a style icon who has endured for almost thirty years. Perhaps Joystick and Anthony Boronowski are trying to tell you something. Or perhaps they just made an affordable, tough, and sweet-looking ski pole and named it the Spicolli. You decide.

Bottom Line: Aloha, class. Your poles are in.

they look sweet, the grips arent the greatest and they do seem to bend a little easier than my old scott world cups, but for this price they are easily replaced if you do happen to snap one

The 110cm pole would be alright for you, but you might want to find something a little bit shorter just so you don't get caught up on it in the park.

6'1 120cm

6'1-according to the "charts" I would be sized more around the 125cm range.
I picked up the 120cm and although I prefer a shorter pole these seemed to be perfect (right around a 90 degree angle)

Yeah they are better, a lot stiffer as well. All the k2 poles that I have tried out are flimsy at crap. This pole imo is the only thing that is compairable to scotts. Since you are getting park poles get the smallest size available.

decent pole

Picked these poles up after I snapped my composite poles, so its def not an upgrade. I haven't skied with aluminum poles in a few seasons, but I don't remember them being so easy to ding and bend. I've had 4 days on them and both are already bent towards the bottom where it begins to taper. That said, its not a big deal and it hasn't negatively affected my skiing. Also, the handle is made of hard plastic that is pretty unforgiving if your hand isn't fully lined up with the finger cutouts (hope that makes sense)...
That said, bottom line is these poles get the job done and the length is great (I'm 6'3 and I got the 125cm)

Great pole for the price. Simple basket and lightweight. Nothing too extravagant.
