JanSport Big Bear 63 Backpack - 3600cu in

Pack your gear into the JanSport Big Bear 65 Backpack and head into the backcountry for a week. This big bag carries everything you need for multiday trips into the wild. The ergonomic S-curve shoulder straps and adjustable harness let you dial this pack’s fit so your load feels good even if you fail to pack light. Dual side water bottle pockets let you get at your water without un-shouldering your pack, and the mesh wet/dry pocket segregated soggy socks or swim suits from dry clothing. Ice axe and haul loops let you store technical gear for more advanced routes.

Bottom Line: Big Bear a load with breaking your back.

I got this pack on sale for $69. When I fist got it, I was worried that it wouldn't hold all my gear for a 3 night trip. I proved my fears wrong when I took it out for the first time. It held a 3 person tent, 3 liters of water, my sleeping bag, food for 2 days, and clothes snugly for a three day trip. It's definitely not too heavy, and the internal frame is easily adjusted to fit different torso sizes. I almost bought the big bear 78 instead. I'm glad I went with the 63, the size is perfect for me since I'm only 5' 4."Side pockets were great for holding my bottles. The outside zipper pocket is unnecessary - I'd rather have the extra space in the main compartment. I put my 70 oz. camelback reservoir in this for my trip, and the internal hydration pocket held it securely, and dry, even when I had a leak. The top pocket is easily accessible while hiking. The only reason i'm giving this a 4/5 is because I'd prefer jansport to construct the pack with just one huge pocket and no external zipper's.Over all: great pack for a 3 night trip, and yes, I would lay down 100 bucks for it. no more tho
