Pack up the Jansport Air Odyssey II Daypack for long day hikes, lightweight overnights, or jam-packed days on campus. Two large main compartments store your extra clothing and food, and the outer utility pocket holds your knife, lighter, and other essentials. Jansport supported the padded mesh back panel with a carbon fiber frame sheet and a padded, stowable hip-belt. Side compression straps let you cinch down a jacket or sleeping pad, and dual bottle pockets and a hydration sleeve hold plenty of water.

I'm looking for a pack for my girlfriend. Whenver we travel she packs EVERYTHING. I need something that will fit the kitchen sink, her laptop, books, and my wallet. I'm looking for something though that has good suspension. How does this one fare with the carbon backing? Thanks

Are you looking for a pack to "travel" with...like airplane carry on travel? This is a oversized bookbag but will not fit more than 2 days worth of stuff.
