Inov 8 Roclite 282 Trail Running Shoe - Women's - 2008

Train for the 50- or 100-mile Grand Teton Race while wearing the Inov 8 Women's Roclite 282 Trail Running Shoe. Inov 8 built this rugged shoe for off-trail ultra distance runs. Waterproof breathable uppers protect your feet in any weather and let sweat evaporate. Inov 8 added a five-finger shank to the midsole that aligns with each metatarsal (foot bone) for protection from stone bruising that won't hinder foot flexibility. Medium-profile cushioning midsole gives you excellent shock absorption as you log the miles. Inov 8's outsole fascia-band replicates your foot's plantar fascia ligament to aid in converting your foot into a rigid lever that propels you forward. Durable outsoles won't wear out after the first 100 miles.

Bottom Line: Go the distance in your lightweight, durable Inov 8 Roclite 282s.

I'm looking for a trail shoe with good cushioning, no pronation

I'm looking for a trail shoe with good cushioning, no pronation control (i.e. Solomon's all seem to have pronation control), excellent grip, weather proofing and flexibility. I know that's a lot to ask. I was hoping this might be my shoe. So my question is: does anyone with high arches have a problem with this shoe?

I have the salomon xa pro and I love the arch support but I learned that they have pronation control (which I do not need/want because I have a high arch). I ordered the Inov8 Roclite 282. Definitely a neutral shoe which is good, but the insole does not have tons of arch support. If I keep them I'll need to replace the insole.

Gorgeous trail runners

These shoes look like they live up to all the hype of British company Inov8. Toe cap has very sturdy material and sole looks good too. Super light weight but has underfoot plate protection. I only wish the pair I ordered would have fit. They were not a keeper for me, had to return. I have a wide foot. But if you have a normal width you'll be set. I recommend giving them a try! I've read many positive reviews on performance. Really good looking shoe too. Can only give 4 out of 5 stars since I did not use product.
