Icebreaker Solo Superfine140 Shirt - Long Sleeve - Men's - 2008

Travel light—pack the versatile Icebreaker Men's Solo Superfine140 Long-Sleeve Shirt for your next overseas trip. The regular-fit Solo features Icebreaker's New Zealand merino wool, an ideal fabric to wear while wandering European cities or trekking in the mountains of Nepal. Merino wool breathes, transfers perspiration away from your skin to keep you dry, and helps to regulate your body temperature so you feel comfy in variable weather conditions. Icebreaker put the Solo's side seams forward to reduce chafing and give the shirt a fitted look. This soft, non-itchy top won't hold body odor like your synthetic shirts, so don't sweat it if you can't wash it for a day or two while on the road.

Bottom Line: From cobblestone streets to rocky trails the Icebreaker Solo helps you stay dry and comfy.

IB is the best

Icebreaker's 140 weight is my favorite off all the merino out there. This piece is cut a little too loose for a baselayer while camping but is great for around town.

Icebreaker never fails

Icebreaker makes the best baselayer available. I started with this one, and now have 3 different kinds - I love them all. I actually sized up on this one, but it wasn't really necessary. Seems to have a similar fit to the BodyFit...not a whole lot more room. The material is crazy thin, but so far very durable, which is impressive. No worries about it loosing its shape. A++.

Great Shirt!!

By:

Tried a seven day no wash right off the start. I rode to work 4 times in 30F weather and back home in 50F with just this shirt and Westcomb shell. Not too hot, not too cold but just right. After the full 7 days, still no stink. No itch either. I've washed it 3 times so far and it still looks good.

the blurb doesn't lie

Wicks .... lightweight ... doesn't stink... looks good. You can really wear this hiking and then wear it for a night out. Seams are on the shoulder I haven't noticed them being irritating with a light pack.

I can't speak for durability yet : I've owned this shirt for only two weeks. Doesn't seem to shrink after washing.

Ordered a size medium and a large to check the fit - like them so much, I think I'm going to keep them both.

I've run in this shirt in 40 degree weather and 60 degree weather and my core is comfortable. Breathes really well, and keeps me warm when I need it. Great all around shirt for running, hiking, biking.
