Warm and functional

This hat rocks. I wear it for all aerobic activities in the cold. It is perfect for backcountry skiing because it is 100% pure merino so it stays warm even when you are sweating up a climb. Also an ideal hat for nordic skiing.

Not sure I can help exactly but I have an Icebreaker beanie, and while I have short buzzed hair, it came down over 2/3 of my ears (that is until I got stupid and threw it in the dryer after washing it...now it's about 1/2 down my ears if I crank on it.) Some of the other styles would fit further down Like the Apex for sure.

Stuffable, washable, and warm

Super lightweight, easy to stuff in a pocket. Hasn't shrunk in the wash. Have worn for 5 'am runs and just around town and I’m equally happy. I've thrown it in the regular washer just with my clothes and haven't had any problems. Hat's definitely not for extreme wind or cold but great to keep warm if you're just kickin' it or while you're working up a sweat. I'm usually extremely sensitive to itchy stuff and didn’t get too much of an itchy feel with this guy so that makes me happy. Great all-around hat I'd recommend to anyone.
