Icebreaker BodyFit260 Crewe - Long-Sleeve - Women's

We can see why the Women's BodyFit260 Crew is one of Icebreaker's best selling base layers every year. Thanks to super-fine merino wool, this long-sleeve shirt breathes well, doesn't itch, resists stink, and insulates even when wet. For layering comfort, Icebreaker gave the BodyFit Crew raglan sleeves and pushed forward the side seams. Wear this top under a fleece on a chilly spring day or by itself for a trail run.

Bottom Line: Got merino?

perfect fit

I bought 2 of these shirts on SAC, and have fallen in love. They keep you warm, fit exquisitely, and fight off smell, even after a hard day. They're soft, and I really appreciate active clothing that fits me like a woman instead of a guy's size small. Also, the length is perfect in back, especially for my long torso.

For your own sizing needs, I'm 5'11", mid-size B cup, 135 lbs. and I usually wear a medium, and a medium Icebreaker fit perfectly.

Soft but not so warm

I am really happy with the fit and feel of this shirt. I am tall (6'1") and was pleased to find out that the XL fit me in both body length and arm length (which is hard to find with performance tops!). After reading rave reviews about the warmth of this shirt I was really looking forward to having it for the ski season, unfortunately I find myself still packing on the extra layers even with this top. It's definitely not worth the shelf price.

Slim fit but looser than CW-X stuff. Also a looser fit than SmartWool's base layers.

Great

This shirt is a little longer and slimmer than their other, lighter weight shirts. Despite this, it's a great shirt. Very warm, pretty heavy duty. And it doesn't stink. What more could you want?

I'm Convinced

I've tried wool before and couldn't wear it next to my skin or even over a light under layer. Icebreaker clothing is totally different. The fit and the feel is great. It doesn't itch, it doesn't smell and it keeps me both warm and cool. I wore these in Vietnam in both heat and chill and they worked well in either condition. The 260 is a nice weight. Small fits me well at 5'6", 110 lbs. but its not overly tight so could fit someone who weighs more. I have average to long arms and the sleeves are perfect.

nice top, overpriced

I had been eying an icebreaker top for a long time since I have heard so many wonderful things about them. I think its more hype and name that you pay for that a quality product. I do love the top. Its the perfect thickness and warmth. The cut is perfect for me, its a feminine fit without being overly fitted. Would pay sale price again, but not worth list.
