Icebreaker BodyFit260 Altitude Crewe - Long Sleeve - Women's - 2007

Gain elevation in your Icebreaker Women's BodyFit260 Long-Sleeve Altitude Crewe. Icebreaker made the midweight Altitude Crewe shirt from merino wool to keep you comfortable through changing weather on your autumn hike from the trailhead to the summit. Merino wool breathes and pulls sweat from your body to keep you dry as you exert, and it insulates as the weather gets cooler on the way up. As you hike up switchbacks, this raglan shirt feels comfortable underneath your backpack because it has no shoulder or back seams to chafe your skin. At the summit, pull a jacket on over this Icebreaker base layer, and enjoy the view—with merino wool, you don't feel clammy or chilled as you cool down.

Bottom Line: The Icebreaker Altitude Crew will get you to the mountaintop in comfort.

Icebreaker's Hot

By:
December 14, 2007

I've become a complete fan of their products. They keep me and the girls (both kinds) Hot when we need it. I could never wear wool, till now. My polar fleece's become lonely. Icebreaker works at home in the Rockies, on early walks in the city I'm stuck in (way west), and I keep one in my on-flight bag. They make a trip comfortable for the daughter that runs class 4 rapids, look stylish on the other that's running between subways in NY City. They cover the gamut in affect, style, comfort, range of levels. I shied at the price till I wore my 1st. Worth it. Try it.

260 weight Ice Breaker

By:

I love the 260 weight. We just went on a backpacking trip for 3 days (Ozark Highland Trail), and I wore the 190 bodyfit and my 260 Altitude crew and it kept we warm and comfortable, both day and night. I wore it all three days and still no real odor.. A+

Good for cooler weather

Fun top. I like the thumb holes for putting on additional layers. Very warm. Great to layer or wear alone. The colors are great. The extra fabric in the back does wonders for keeping out plumber drafts.

This layer really couldn't get any better. It's comfortable, warm, dries quickly, and has enough fabric in the arms so that it's not restricting. I have a long torso, and it's not too short for me either! Perfect for outdoor adventures and indoor lounging alike.

mmm...thick

This is definitely thicker than Icebreakers Pace Top, which I also have (that one is lightweight where as this is midweight). The wool feeling is slightly more noticeable, but it doesn't feel itchy to me, and I think this top is great. I wear it as a skiing base layer or under a T-shirt - it's slim-fit, and the xs worked great for me. There is none of the stink after sweating, and it breathes noticeably better than synthetic base layers. Merino wool is pretty much the best for sweaty endeavors.
