Very nice coat. Very thick and warm and light weight. I tend to get cold very easily, and have a bad back, so I wanted something with long coverage (but not too long to your calves that makes daily activities a hinderance), WARM and light weight as not to injure my back wearing this walking around (it did happen before..) This coat fits the bill beautifully. Much better made than Lands End and LL Bean, I hate to say, but true. My daughter loves it so much, I just ordered her one. The website is great. I called many times, and have always talked to courteous, ehthusiastic and helpful people. Such a rare find these days.

This is a wonderfully warm coat with the added feature of magnetic closings on the storm flap.

Because I am tall, I ordered a larger size coat so the arm length would be sufficient. The size 12 is good but the arm length is still short. This is
my only negative.

I've been searching for the perfect down jacket/coat for quite some time. I wanted something longer, covering the kidneys, but not too long. I tried several parkas and other coats but some where either too bulky or had a really strange, unflattering cut. I am slim but not tall, and some of these coats made me look like the Michelin (wo)man! The Isis Snow Queen is perfect! Nicely shaped, with a slight a-line towards the bottom and roomy yet not bulky. It is very cozy and warm, and I love the magnetic closures keeping flaps put. The lined pockets are helpful when you can't find your gloves first thing in the morning. I am very happy with this coat!
One note - some of the other reviewers mentioned that this coat runs large. I agree, I ordered one size down and could probably have gone even smaller, but it is a good fit with an extra layer underneath.

Great coat. Very warm, plenty of coverage for long walks with the dog. No Velcro to scratch, uses magnetic closures for the the wind flap. Designed by women, of course! Only downside is that it runs a size larger, so order a size down.
