Icebreaker Superfine190 Tech T - Men's - 2007

Throw your cotton T-shirts away. Once you pull on the 100% merino wool Icebreaker Superfine190 Tech T, you'll never go back. This performance T-shirt's lightweight merino wool regulates your temperature better than synthetics, feels softer than cotton, and won't hold odor like other performance shirts. Wear the Tech T by itself to the café or as a base layer when you hit the slopes—Icebreaker designed it for everything.

Bottom Line: The Icebreaker Superfine Tech T puts other performance T-shirts to shame.

"Oh Man, Another Company that went Chinese!!!

By:
January 10, 2008

Ok, so I had an the Icebreaker Hopper and Tech T from 2 years ago. I still have them both and love them. But to share some of the daily loads these shirts have been seeing I decided to get another one. This time I had my eye on another Tech T. Well, when I got mine, the sewing on the seams did not look as sturdy and well done as on the two other Icebreakers I have. I look at the Tech and it now says "Made In China"!!!! The drop in quality is definitely noticeable comparing the two Tech T's I have. The fabric still feels the same but the construction is markedly INFERIOR to my Kiwi made one. Man, I would pay more for the same quality as my old one. But still this Tech T is a keeper.

Great, but looses shape

Great t-shirt, but looses shape after a couple of months of use. As always unbelievable fabric, doesn't hold odor for days. Warm.. ish, good for traveling, when you cannot take shower every day or use laundromat. Buy it

Excellent quality and fit. Looks great as well. Softer than cotton and much cooler/warmer than any synthetic.

Icebreaker Superfine T

By:
December 17, 2007

Great shirt. I am sensitive to wool and heard such good things about Merino wool and this company I figured I would give it a try. Shirt feels great and no itching, it's soft on the skin but really durable. Great at wicking sweat also. I am a big guy and thought xl might be tight on me after viewing the pics, but it is actually a little large on me which is good. Great stuff.

Classic

Ah merino. I love this stuff. The Tech T is a great start if you haven't jumped on the merino band wagon yet.

It's light enough to wear in the summer, insulates great as a base layer in winter, and doesn't ever stink.

I've worn this thing for a week straight, and you'd never guess it. Icebreaker makes quality clothing and this one does not disappoint.

Great product!

By:

This was my first Merino wool product so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I still can't get over how much of a difference a t-shirt can make in comfort level. These shirts can be worn in such a variety of conditions that they're worth every penny. Lightweight, comfortable, and definitely live up to the hype. *If you want an athletic fit, buy a size smaller than you'd expect.

Icebreaker Merino = Golden Fleece

Forget the old idea that "fleece" is synthetic! When it comes to basic tech tees, this one is definitely worth its weight in gold. It's comfortable, it breathes, it cools, it warms, stays fresh (i.e. doesn't reek like synthetics), it's biodegradable, it's REMARKABLE. The only catch is that you can't dry it in the dryer (if you want it to retain its size and natural performance properties). Great stuff!!

Sweet T!

This was my first merino shirt and I am a believer. I wore it as a daily kick around, out to dinner, and on 3 trail runs without washing it and it never got funky. Super comfy and breathable in the heat of the day and in the office A/C.
