American Heart Association recommend reducing saturated fat intake to less than 7% of total calories according to its 2006 recommendations. This concurs with similar conclusions made by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Department of Health and Human Services, both of which determined that reduction in saturated fat consumption would positively affect health and reduce the prevalence of heart disease. Not too sweet

I bought these for a 64k/4k vert trail race in SoCal. Hadn't tried this mix before, which was probably unwise, but this drink did the job for me. The flavor is not too sweet, which I like, but it is pleasant enough to drink a couple of liters of mixture along with some plain water.

for replacing fluid lost you mean water right? well we sweat out water yes. but with that water comes electroytes; salt, potasium and magnesium. so just drinking water is not enough because you aren't replacing the electrolytes you sweat out as well. if you just drink water during prolonged excercise you can end up hyponatremic. more people die in athletic events from hyponatremia than dehydration. so if you are sweating a good electrolyte drink is appropriate and "better" than just water. however this hydro boom is garbage in my opinion as i the first 3 of 4 ingredients are nasty man made sugars. drink nuun instead.http://search.backcountry.com/?q=nuun&x=0&y=0&avad=7149_0_cl_0
