As the add says I like to use the best stuff. I went to Hestra looking for a glove sponsor because they are the best. Tried them on and the fit was comfy, unlike any other glove mostly due to having the seams exposed rather than inside the fingers, gives the glove the seamless feel.

This is a new design for my glove this year. Much more insulation for those that felt the last glove was to thin. I like the Lobster/3 Finger the most. The inner fingers are separated but you still have the use of your index finger unlike a mitten, but you have the warmth of a mitten. The combo of leathers gives this glove a soft supple feel on the outside. Top of the hand,fingers, and wrist is a bit of padding for protection. Small side zip for easy entry and a clean look on the longer wrist. C-zone insert for for wind a moisture protection. Thumb nose wipe and removable wrist straps round out this glove.

I must stress using the water proof wax that comes with the gloves, its just enough for the first application. Taking the time to do this seals the glove from wind going through the seams and needle holes besides waterproofing. It makes the glove a bit darker as well.

Hestra is the best gloves money can buy. I own a pair of the Hestra vertical cut freeride gloves and the only two things that I thought could be better with them was a bit more warmth and a wrist strap. When I saw this glove with the lobster fingers and wrist strap I knew I had to have it. I can’t wait to use these bad boys on a cold, cold day.
