Hestra Primaloft Junior Mitt - Kids'

On the coldest days of the year, the Swedish-made Hestra PrimaLoft Junior Mitt keeps little hands toasty and dry. This miniaturized version of Hestra’s adult alpine mitten features super-light PrimaLoft insulation for flexibility and warm loft even if soaked through. That’s not an issue, though, because Hestra uses Entrant waterproofing and a Micron water-repellent coating on the Junior Mitt’s nylon shell, and a PU Grip palm for years of hand-me-down durability.

Bottom Line: They’re Swedes. They know about the cold.

It is hard to pin point since everyone has different Metabolisom. I have these Mitt for my daughter we live at 9000ft in Colorado. These seem to keep her hand warms and there are day where we don not get above 0. They do have a windproof waterprook lining so you should be block from those elememts.

From the size chart: "Hestra gloves are measured using Length and Perimeter. Length: from the tip of the middle finger to the breaking point in the wrist where it joins the palm. Perimeter: Measure around the widest part of the hand, do not measure around the thumb."The size chart is true to what it reads.
