Heritage Kayaks Featherlite 14 Deluxe Kayak

The Heritage Kayaks FeatherLite 14 Deluxe Kayak has a long profile and a molded skeg that allow for serious cruising, while the large cockpit won't squish your legs or make you feel like you're about to tip over. The inside stores enough gear for a short overnight trip, while a small stern hatch holds snacks and a camera. I have a Featherlite 14 and would like to add a rudder. Has anyone

I have a Featherlite 14 and would like to add a rudder. Has anyone had success doing this. I need the added space at the hips and the weight capacity that I get from the Heritage and couldn't find anywhere else. I kayak mstly i lakes in PA and MA and for a week every year in Georgian Bay. That's where I need the rudder.
