Helly Hansen Prowool Pant - Women's - 2006

Layer with the midweight Helly Hansen Women's Prowool Pant next time you ski. Helly Hansen borrowed technology from nature to make these long-underwear bottoms. Helly Hansen lined these pants with LIFA, a fabric with hollow fibers similar to polar bear's fur. Just as the bear's fur traps heat, so do these hollow fibers. Plus, LIFA wicks perspiration away from your body. The outer layer is Merino wool, which is what keeps New Zealand sheep warm. This soft, non-itchy wool also has stretch so you move freely in these bottoms.

Bottom Line: Layer with the comfortable Helly Hansen Prowool Pants, and they'll make an animal out of you on the ski slopes.

Hottness

I got the hot pink in XS, which fit great. I had been debating between XS and S because I have skinny legs and a bubble butt. Fortunately the XS accommodated my curves nicely. I hate being cold and these babies keep my lower body delightfully toasty. Non-itchy, warm, sleek-- totally awesome.

These will turn heads

... because they are HOT pink. But, hey, they are a base layer and easy to find in the dark amid all my other black/dark clothing. All joking aside, I really like these. I wear them under my everyday pants when I walk the dog and they keep me surprisingly warm. Not too hot and not too cold. As Goldilocks would say, "They are just right." Oh, and they're not very stretchy so if you've read the sizing chart and your hip size is on the edge between the medium and the large, go with the large. I have 38.5 inch hips & bought both a medium and a large. The large are more comfy and have more room to move without being baggy.
