It's as heavy as the boots and skis you put in it, plus probably 3 more pounds. A very broad estimate would be somewhere in the ballpark of 35-45 pounds.

I was just down at the shop and asked about this bag. They said it really only holds two pairs of skis and looking inside, there are only two slots with the velco straps to hold ski's. There are two other "compartments" that are simply seperated by a small wall of padding, so I guess you could put ski's in there too. This is in Japan where they tend to err on the side of caution so even though the tag says it holds 4 pairs of ski's they claim it's a 2 pair bag. Width/depth is fine and lots of pockets, the three quick-release compression straps would probably also keep additional ski's in place fine if you opted to try and fit four pairs in it.As far as whether or not it will hold your 189's, I had just bought a pair of Mantra 184's and put 'em in the bag to test it out. It was OK for my 184's and I think your 189's would fit fine too.
