Well it is about 18" long I think, so not a whole bunch of your spine is protected. If you want spine pro, look elsewhere.

Yeah man, these kidney pads would definitely work for football! They will give you some extra protection on the gridiron, and if you ski or snowboard, they will work on the slopes too!
