Head Skis USA Monster i.M 88 Alpine Ski - 2007

The Head Monster iM 88 Alpine Ski ups the ante from the already big and burly iM 85. The 88 is a super-charged big-mountain twintip ski that's fully loaded with all of Head's cutting-edge technology. With dimensions of 126/88/112mm, this fat alpine ski hauls through powder and chop like it ain't no thang. Although it's not designed for shredding the groomed, it'll still hold an edge when you hit the hardpack, thanks to the torsional stiffness and energy transfer delivered by the 88's internal smart chips. Pair that performance with Head's new Liquidmetal technology—a layer of material placed under the topsheet and coating the core, which contains all of the energy generated during a turn and uses it to rocket you into the next—and you've got yourself one hell of a lively, powerful ride anywhere you let this Monster run.
