GoLite Wisp Wind Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's - 2007

The GoLite Men's Wisp Wind Shirt weighs three ounces, fits into its own tiny pocket, and gives you windproof and water-resistant protection for ultralight trips. No matter what your day entails, you always have room for this 22D nylon pullover. GoLite included a clip loop to help you attach it to your pack or climbing harness for fast access when the weather turns nasty. The Wisp Wind Shirt fights off all wind and light rain to keep you from feeling frozen when weather turns bad on your day it the outdoors.

Bottom Line: Get a bit of extra weather protection for only three ounces.

Very Comfortable Windshirt

By:
May 9, 2007

This is a very comfortable wind shirt. It fits well. (I have a slender frame and some jackets/shirts are too baggy). The arms are long enough to stay in place when I reach up over my head. The fabric is silky, and very quite. There is no annoying crinkle or scraping sounds coming from the shirt.
It keeps the wind out but breaths pretty well. The arms are a little baggy, which is not a problem but it does create an interesting sensation when the wind is blowing. You cannot feel the wind but you can feel the shirt moving with the wind.
I like the simplicity of the shirt. There is a stow pocket with a zipper so you can put your keys and a smaller wallet in while you run. It is a 1/4 zip so venting is a little restricted. I think a longer zipper would be helpful for venting. This is a great cool weather running top.

Wisp Wind Shirt

AMAZING!!! That something that light and thin could a)keep warm and insulated, and b)ventilate so well. Snowshoed in Desolation Wilderness W of Lake Tahoe, ambient temperature 15deg, no wind. (can't comment on how it would perform in the wind.) going in, 3 layers- long johns, wind shirt, pullover. coming out, just long johns and windshirt. Warm, but not sweaty. Moved well with body motion, no 'stickiness' or restricted motion. Strongly recommend it for winter wilderness travel.

I carry it all the time, because it is so light and packs so small, but haven't used it yet, still hot in texas, have to wait probably another month or two..

Super lightweight and packs into the size of a racket ball. Fits my tall slender frame great with no complaints. Allows mobility when running and feels as light as a feather. Great colors too!

extremely light and compact, but essential on windy passes, also a nice second layer to prevent mosquito bites

this shirt is great the more I wear it the better I like it. When I am not wearing it put it in it's pouch and it is so small it will go right in your pocket can be brought out easily when you need it. I like it so much I ordered another while it was on sale.
