what is the center hight ? how long are the poles? are there

Chris,The center height with the GoLite poles is 73 inches. This can vary depending on how you set the shelter up. Instead of the GoLite poles you can substitute for trekking poles or anything similar to one. Check out http://cache.backpackinglight.com/backpackinglight/user_uploads/1214848975_06531.jpgAs for bulkiness, this shelter weighs in at what 2-3 person tents weigh, so it provides minimal weight and bulk. It terms of vents, it does not have any. If you are just pitching the shelter condensation shouldn't be as big of an issue because there will be better air circulation.Just so I am clear, this is a tent that is geared to the ultralite / more experienced enthusiasts. Based off your questions I think there are a lot of other free standing (easier to setup) tents available. Good luck and post up any more questions you may have about this shelter.Mahalo, Sumo

Bought this as my daughters are now old enough to backpack as a family and me hauling around a 6 person tent was over 20+ lbs - this set-up is a back saver. Light weight (11 lbs) and fully functional. Tons of room as you can sleep 6 people and gear! For a family or if you just want room to roam, this is the way to go
