GoLite Shangri-La 1 Shelter - 2008

Ultra-light travelers seek out the GoLite Shangri-La 1 Shelter for its versatility, durability, and of course, its ethereal weight. The Shangri-La 1 can be pitched over trekking poles, paddles, or ski poles, as well as hung from above by the integrated top loops. When combined with the Shangri-La 1 Nest and Footprint, this fastpacking tarp becomes a four-season fortress for one, tipping the scales at a hair over three pounds.

Bottom Line: Solo camping year-round starts in the GoLite Shangri-La 1 Shelter.

I wish I bought the nest at the same time. after first experience with this shelter, i found it is water prove, light weight. One morning a bee in my tent woke me up, and some ants too. I wish I had nest...

To the best of my measurements, it is 94" from the front placement to the back of the tent.
