Are the bugs getting to be a little too much inside your floorless Hex 3 shelter? Put it over this GoLite Hex 3 Nest Inner Tent and keep yourself bite-free on your next trip. Made of lightweight, no-see-um netting, the Hex 3 Nest Inner Tent keeps out even the smallest bloodsuckers. The full-size C-shaped door provides easy access, and the PU-coated waterproof floor gives your Hex added storm protection. You can also use the Nest alone by pitching it with the pole from your Hex shelter, allowing you to sleep under the stars without interference from little biters.

Fitting three people in this "nest" would be quite a challenge. The center pole would fit approximately where the center occupant's groin would be. That being said, the Hex 3 nest is spacious for two. It’s great for sleeping out on moonless nights when the blood suckers or scorpions are on the prowl. I hiked over 2000 miles this year carrying it and don’t regret a mile. The tarp that fits over the nest is bomb proof. The nest is a necessary evil to long distance hiking in my opinion. Carry it (or something else), bathe in deet or don’t sleep. The choice is easy. I just wish go lite could develop a “liter,” less bulky version.
