These are really comfortable and pretty warm. They are light so don't be expecting a ton of warmth from them. I have been wearing these with columbia omni-dry titanium rain pants and I have been super dry and warm. It's been raining like mad the last few weeks and about 35 or 40 outside. I tend to get chilly easy but these have done the job keeping me comfortable.

This baselayer is soft on the skin, warm for the weight and a good fit. Golite's Midweight rating may be a little overzealous, but after use from 30-60F this weekend, i am impressed with the versatility.

Fit is just right for a baselayer, snug but not constricting. The top has flex panels down your spine and along your arms to help the garment conform to the wearer's body. The bottoms are not as tight on me as in the photo, but are the right length and waist size. I am 6'0" 170 and M fits me well.

I do have a few complaints about the product, however. Like many thin synthetic garments, the stretch fabric wears quickly. I made the mistake of wearing only the top while rock climbing and put some runs in thinner stretch fabric in the forearms. The fabric still functions, but it doesn't look good. Secondly, i am a fan of thumb-holes in cuffs, something this top is lacking.

All in all, this is my go-to baselayer for lots of coolweather outdoor activities. For versatility, fabric, and reasonable price, i would recommend the BL-2 with little hesitation.
