Giro Seam Helmet
Breakthrough comfort meets no-brainer safety in the Giro Seam Helmet. Giro has been making heads safe for years, and the Seam’s impact-absorbing polycarbonate shell and foam liner still do the trick when you lose an edge in your favorite stash of trees. Insurance aside, Giro’s innovations in ventilation will encourage you to wear this brain-bucket in all weather, especially on warm days when the snow is bulletproof.
- Thermostat control on the outside of the helmet lets you instantly change the airflow to fit your comfort level
- Super Cool Vents suck in much needed cool air when you’re charging hard all day
- Stack vent prevents goggle fog so you can relax on the chairlift and take in the scenery
- In Form Fit System lets you easily fine-tune the helmet to fit your uniquely sized melon
- X-Static antimicrobial padding adds teddy bear comfort to keep your ears toasty
- TuneUps audio system compatible (sold separately)
Bottom Line: For best results, wear every day.

No rattling with my helmet, it is very solid.

Jack is right. The helmet never should have left the factory floor. Bummer. I love the design of the helmet but I checked it out locally and even the store owner was quick to see upon quick examination that the thing rattles. I like the helmet so much I would buy even if Giro retro-fitted the thing with cleats or something to fix. No way I will purchase though.Unfortunate.

I just got the Seam white flowers and I love it! No rattle in mine. I can't wait to go to Copper Mountain with girls next week, spring skiing in Nov.
Giro Seam Excellent Adjustable Fit

Just got my Giro Seam Helmet - it fits great and integrates perfectly with my Giro Basis goggles. I wasn't exactly sure what size to get at first, then I realized that my mountain bike helmets are both Giro, size Large - I got the Seam in size Large and it is just right. Stoked on the Skullcandy/Giro Audio Drops.
I also noticed that there is a cool, unmarked feature in the back of the Giro Seam helmet that makes it even more comfortable - the fit dial strap can actually be moved up or down to ensure that when you tighten down the dial, it hits the back of your head in just the right spot. Just look at the inside of your helmet where the fit dial strap connects to it - back/center, just above the dial (see attached photo). You will notice that there are different holes that the strap can connect to - just pop it out of the holes that it is currently in and click it back into the helmet where you like it. By moving the strap down towards your neck, you will raise the brim of the helmet (good for anyone wearing larger goggles). If you move the strap up towards the top of your head, the brim will come down on your forehead.
Change me.
