Giro Omen Wireless Audio Helmet

If you think the Giro Omen Wireless Audio Helmet looks like something Batman would wear, you’re right. Communicate with the Bat Cave and blast your theme music through the wireless speakers with the ease of Bluetooth technology.

  • Controls on the TuneUps wireless speaker pods are simple to use even when wearing gloves
  • In Form adjustment system allows you to get the ideal fit with the turn of a dial
  • Vertical adjustment in the back and goggle strap channel mean seamless integration and less bulk
  • In-mold shell construction reduces weight and overall bulk by fusing the outer shell with the impact-absorbing foam liner
  • Wind Tunnel ventilation combines active vents with exhaust channels in the helmet’s liner to draw cool, fresh air over your head and force stale, warm air out
  • Thermostat ventilation control makes for quick and easy temperature regulation
  • Bluetooth adapter for MP3 player sold separately

Bottom Line: Bust some crud and some crime.

Beware of Giro Omen Wireless Audo helmet

By:

I ordered this helmet, only to find my Blackberry Curve wouldn't pair up. Backcountry support told me I need the Giro Tune Ups w/BT Link to make the phone work. Nowhere does it say this on the Web site. I can't figure out even where the BT Link components would go. Also it doesn't say anything about needing this part in the Skullcandy manual that came with the helmet. You'd think that for a $379 audio helmet, someone would at least point out that an additional $80 part was required to make the helmet work. I also spoke with two different Backcountry representatives prior to purchase, neither of whom informed me of this little technicality. I'm extremeley disappointed in Giro, Skullcandy and Backcountry. This is a miserable way to sell products.
