Giro G10 Signature Series Helmet - 2007

If you want to progress to the level Andy Finch or Peter Olenick—you're going to crash a few times—do your brain a favor and wear the Signature Series G10 Helmet. This helmet's low-profile style and technical materials give you the confidence and protection to keep progressing. The G10's impact absorbing foam liner takes the brunt of huge impacts, while a tough polycarbonate outer shell takes the impact of being dropped on the ground in the parking lot. A simple slider on the outside of the helmet allows you custom tune the airflow through the G10's twelve massive vents. Remove the earpads while hiking the pipe in late spring, or swap them out for Giro's Tuneups system and rock out while you ride. *Tuneups audio system not included.

Bottom Line: Even Andy and Peter crash once in a while—protect your head in the G10 Signature Series Helmet.

Can u scrape off the overlay of the people on the G10 signature so the helmet looks all black?

Why don't you just get the normal G10 (not signature) in black, you'll save money and won't have to deal with scraping.

Changed my life!

Before getting this helmet, I had a cheap, poorly vented smith that I decided to try out after a big helmet-less crash and severe concussion. I always had a tough time controlling my temperature and would overheat on -5 degree tree runs. Who sweats when its that cold?! I was just about to ditch the helmet when a friend said how much he loved his Giro helmet. I got the G10 and it completely changed my skiing experience. Now I can adjust the venting to spew heat when hitting the trees and close em up to stay warm on the lift. I highly recommend the Giro G10, not to mention the Signature Series isn't just boring black.

The main important thing is that it fits my head perfectly, so is very comfortable and will protect me when I fall. Also the vents are great -- my head does get a bit sweaty in warm spring conditions but it's a lot better than my previous Red helmet with no vents. There is a dial on the back that allows you to tighten it to better hold your head, but this won't compensate for a bad fit. All the Giro helmets are pretty good, so basically the important thing is to get the right fit (I tried them all on and each is shaped a bit differently). Also, I want to point out that my helmet DID come with the tuneups music setup, which is a nice bonus although I probably won't use it very much.
