Giro G10 MX Helmet

With its distinctive visored profile, the Giro G10 MX Helmet has become the signature headwear of the backcountry stormtrooper. Slip it on, dial in the In Form fit system, and send it ‘til your ears bleed. A lightweight EPS hard foam liner protects rapid-firing neurons from inconveniently-placed trees, rocks, and other immovable objects, while the hard polycarbonate shell brushes off the everyday wear inflicted by the bed of your pickup. The removable moto-style visor keeps both sun and fast-moving branches from reaching your face, and 14 adjustable vents keep your cranial temperature regulated. Giro’s Goggle Notch channel keeps your goggles in place, and you can add the TuneUps audio system (sold separately) to bring Jerry and Page along for the ride.

This is a pretty dope helmet. I guess there is a reason why the design hasn't changed much in a few years (except colors/graphics). It fits my noggin just right, is light weight, breathes well, and looks pretty damn good too.

Visor is a little bigger than I would prefer, but it really does come in handy at times blocking sun and misc. debris from hitting your face/gogs. I would def. recommend to a friend.

Robert, have to seen the Giro Seam? Super dope, small visor 1 vent switch really light. You can put your goggles on top, but you really shouldn't do that 'cuz the inner lens can get snow on it.

Well the answer is both. G10MX is a cool metallic shiny white.
In the G10 (not MX) you can buy matte white exploded argyle or white (shiny).

This helmet is one of the best you can buy. Besides the fact that it looks sweet it keeps you well ventilated and protected. I landed on my head when trying a 540 and i got up with no head problems at all. The helmet cracked but thats what helmets are supposed do, make it so your brains dont fall out when you crash. the only problem i ran into was that you cant put you goggles on the brim because of the visor but I still highly recommend this helmet for anyone looking for a high quality lid that they wont be dissapointed in.
