Giro G10 MX Audio Helmet - 2005

You're a child of modern times; you value choice, freedom, and versatility. Giro gives you all of that and a bitchin' sound system in the G10 MX Audio Helmet. Utilizing in-mold construction, Giro bonds the EPS liner to the polycarbonate shell creating an ultra-lightweight, durable, hyperventilated brain bucket. This helmet's core identity remains in the new wide-open freestyle but it comes equipped with a removable visor for getting gnar in the park, rushing the trees, or hanging it out in the backcountry. The Goggle Notch channel keeps your goggles in place and allows a gapless fit, while 14 vents with on-the-fly adjustable control keep your brain at its perfect operating temperature. Thanks to the Giro TuneUps II with exclusive LINK technology from Skullcandy, you can rip it up while listening to Black Sabbath, and call your mom to tell her you just stomped a sick Rodeo flip — all through one audio-helmet interface. That means two super-plush ear pads with built-in speakers, one Y-split audio cord with an in-line volume control to crank the audio and a built-in microphone for hands-free phone use. Includes adapters for use with most phones and a travel case that holds 10 CDs or your audio device. *I-pod and phone not included.

Bottom Line: Iron Man never sounded so right.

Very nice helmet

Fit is good and the phone integration works really well. The only complaint I have is opening and closing the vents is a tad difficult.

For days I feel tougher than most

The visor is great for sun but makes me feel tougher than I should. I usually put on war paint and listen to bad music then go huck cliffs in Camera Land. Skull candy rocks my money maker.

Sweet Helmet

This helmet rocks! It's very lightweight, the visor is low profile enough that it doesn't get in the way or catch wind. And the Skullcandy headphones sound great.

Great helmet, the tune ups feature is a must and this is by far the best helmet I have ever owned.

All good except...

This helmet is really nice, I really like it. The only bad part was that the visor isn’t held on the best by the middle screw, but the cell phone/ music Tune Ups is a really nice accessory.

Excellent Helmet

I must say this helmet is awesome. It fits snugly on your head and is pretty comfortable. The Tuneups are definitely a plus. They have a relative ease of use and provide good sound quality, while the volume can be adjusted as loud or soft as you need. The visor is also nice for tight tree skiing. Finally, it is lightweight and stylish, but still provides maximum protection.
