I purchased the G10 for my 59th birthday to use for sking. I've used it twice and love it. It's so light weight and comfortable I don't notice it's up there. And, it keeps my head dry and warm, even in the rain. I just close the vents and keep on skiing. The ear pads are comfortable and they keep the ears warm too. The size adjustment feature lets you enlarge the padding enough to wear a thin cap under the helmet when the temp gets extremely cold. On top of all this, it looks good on the slopes.

The only XL helmet Giro makes is the G9. It's huge, if you have a big mellon get it. White, and Black only.

Giro doesnt make an XL anymore, look at their site the L should fit. My old giro was an XL and the new L's fit perfectly.

This helmet is awesome. I don't know what to say about it except the fit is bomber, the look is rad, the vents keep you cool/warm, I don't get a headache/concussion when I wear it, and I love Giro's In Form fit system. The first couple of times I wore it, my ears did get a little sore by the end of the day, but now its gone. I guess my ears just had to toughen up a little bit.

I just bought this helmet. Comfy fit, cool color.

Is there a recommended spherical goggle that provides a solid, airtight fit with this helmet? My Bolle goggles don't hold a tight fit to my face.

Looking for a recommendation on a quality goggle (pref. rose/vermillion lens) that will work well with the G10. Thanks in advance.

This helmet is so comfortable and seems true to size, I wear medium Giro bike helmets and this G10 medium is perfect . This is a great upgrade from my old Giro Nine (8 years old). I like the adjustable dial fit in the back because it allows me to wear a thin hat if I want. Also the G10 has one switch that opens and closes all air holes. Good style, fits well with goggles, I dig it.

How accurate is the Matte Gold color represented in the photo? Other sites show it a bit darker. I want something different than black but not sure I like it the color is real light.

It is a tad darker than this picture, but not super deep gold. If you want something that isn't black though, that blue helmet is pretty sweet looking.

This is a great fitting helmet. It's one of the lightest on the market, next to the Smith Maze, so you hardly know you have it on. The materials/design are top notch, and it feels solid while wearing it, thanks to the precise form-fit adjustment. With 14 vents (adjustable), you can control the amount of ventilation. Did I mention it looks f-ing great to boot?, I got the matte white.
