Garmont Vetta Plus Mountaineering Boot - Men's - 2008

Lace up the Garmont Men's Vetta Plus Mountaineering Boots, and attack the nearest wall with ferocious speed and tenacious grip. The Vetta Plus is a versatile approach, mixed route, and technical alpine speed ascent boot, with a low-bulk Cambrelle lining, crampon-compatible Vibram sole, and to-the-toe lacing for precision fit. Its suede and synthetic upper is ready for big wall abuse, and Garmont gave it a slingshot rand and a fully wrapped, pointed toe for edging performance.

Bottom Line: If you can point to it, the Garmont Vetta Plus can probably send it.

Definitely not. In fact, you may want to invest in some gaitors. for deep snow. If you're going to be climbing even a little bit, I'd recommend something of this nature. The review above stated "They also fit perfectly as my winter hiking/mountaineering boot. Secure on the feet and sharp grip in the sole". You should be set.

Correct. This boot does NOT have a front toe bail and requires New-Matic crampons.
