GSI Outdoor Halulite Tea Kettle - 1qt

Made of Halulite, a hard anodized alloy as light as titanium, the GSI Tea Kettle HAE conducts heat better than your dented WWII era tea kettle so you can use less fuel to boil water. Sure, Grandpa's kettle did the job over the years, but you deserve a 20th century battle ready tea kettle that withstands dents, scratching and abrasions like no other tea pot out there. Grip the heat resistant handles and pour a peaceful sunrise cup then throw the kettle against a rock just to check how hard this puppy is.

Bottom Line: Boil a better backcountry cup.

Tea Time in the Wild

By:

This kettle is perfect for backpack or any camping. My wife and I have forever been using a pot to boil water for tea in the morning, now we have been provided the solution. We can pack our weekends worth of tea, sugar and cream inside the pot and throw it in my bag. Its so lightweight and compact. It heats fast and keeps the water warm after its off the fire long enough to get two cups a piece out of it. In a nutshell, its brilliant, inexpensive and a must have for campers who prefer tea over coffee in the morning. GSI, my hats off to you... thank you for the excellent product and I look forward to many more. Aaron

Family Favorite

We just returned from a week long backpacking trip to Isle Royale and we love our gsi kettle. We used it at every meal and for hot cocoa before bed! It is very light and fit perfectly in our pan set. I only regret that my husband put it on our lit camp stove empty with the handle folded down and it melted a little bit.

fastest way to boiling water

now that we have this kettle, we don't bring any other pans with on a backcountry trip. it weighs practically nothing and boils water quicker than anything else we've tried. it saves you space, weight and fuel -- what more could you want!?

Tea-rrific

I love my new kettle -- ultralight, big enough for two people to enjoy coffee or tea, and straps on to the outside of my pack to save space. The only downside is that the rubber handle melted a little when we hung it over the fire.

Awesome!

I tested this out on my conduction stove top and in 3-4 minutes I had boiling hot water from freezing cold water! Lightweight is my favorite and they don't lie when they say that it's lighter than titanium because I have a lot of titanium gear and this is lighter! Highly recommend, you wont regret.
