Giro G10 Helmet - 2006

Giro designed the G10 Helmet for riders who push their limits in wide-open freeriding terrain. The wide-angle cut and gapless goggle fit ensure you can see your takeoff, spot your landing, and spy everything in-between without any paranoia-inducing blind spots. In-mold construction fuses the exterior polycarbonate shell with the interior EPS liner for ultimate durability without added weight. 14 vents with on-the-fly adjustability combined with snap-fit, super-plush removable ear pads keep you cool, comfortable, and levelheaded regardless of the conditions. The G10 is TuneUps compatible.

Bottom Line: Air it out with confidence.

fantastic helmet

This helmet is great. The envy of my friends. It is unique in style, so it's easy to find mine in the group. I love it. The vents and features are a real plus. The construction is great. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone who is interested in keeping themselves, or their loved ones safe, and to have style to boot.

Stylish, countour enshansing Goggles - Excellent

By:

I'm not sure who said these goggles were not suitable for use with a helmet. I've used them for the last couple of days with a Giro G10 helmet and they fit perfectly to my face and were as comfortable as I could have hoped! Riding in snowy conditions on fresh powder in the backcountry was a treat. I'd recommend them to anyone! Excellent visibility, never fogged up and I don't regret for one second having shelled out a little bit more cash. You get a whole lot more goggle!

Robust, light, comfortable, need look no further

Excellent kit, especially when combined with the TuneUps II! (combine with a cable splitter and you can use your walkie-talkies and listen to music from your MP3 player all at the same time!) The closable air vents on the helmet are useful for when the weather gets nasty! I had a spectacular high speed fall (all of my own doing!) and the helmet stayed in place and did its job admirably! The helmet is so light and warm that it's better than any hat.

Solid Helmet, Very Lightweight

By:
November 25, 2005

I started wearing a helmet this year because it is just the smart thing to do. I was worried about a helmet feeling bulky or constricting, but after an hour on the slopes, I did not even notice it was on. The G10 is nice and warm for the coldest days with removable earpieces and adjustable vents for when the weather heats up in the Spring. The G10 fit me similarly to the G9. (There is a definite fit difference between the G9/G10 and the Giro Fuse). The G10 has a slightly sleeker look (think "new school style") than the G9 and has the adjustable venting via a switch on the top of the helmet which makes temperature regulation more convenient than with the G9.

Giro G10

This is a very nice helmet. It keeps your head warm fairly well but not super hot. It is also lightweight. It works great with add on speakers and an iPod. Highly recommended.

Great Helmet!

By:

I was pretty surprised by how comfortable this helmet was. Since my head is quite large, there aren't too many helmets out there that fit comfortably. This one did. I really liked the adjustable ventilation setup on it. When skiing I opened them, when on the lift, I closed them. It worked great! I'm glad I bought this helmet.

Great Helmet

I tried on a number of cheaper helmets, but decided on this one because it was noticeably lighter. An ounce or two can make a significant difference on your comfort level. Rode with it once so far. Happy with this purchase.
