G3 Ski Leash - 2005

Keep your tele skis from running away at the resort with G3 Ski Leashes. If you're looking for a burly leash then you want to go with the metal clip. Skiers who want a lighter leash that's easy to use with gloves on should buy the plastic clip. Both leashes have coated steel wires and come with a Lifetime warranty.

Bottom Line: You have to use leashes when you're inbounds. Get the good ones.

Useless

If you need leashes buy some that work. Broke these the first time I separated from my skis. Long walk down... Not happy.
The G3 leashes with the metal clip work great and are about the same price as these pieces of junk.

Clanky crap

Compared to the BD and Voile, the G3 are garbage. The clasp is constantly thrashing around, and is weighty.

Just OK

These leashes are just ok. Sometimes I have a hard time pressing the plastic part enough to get them around the clip on the boot. This usually happens when it's cold out or when I am wearing bulky gloves. Once they are on, they do a fine job though. Overall, a good quality product that is not going to fall apart.

They do the trick, can't complain at a price that this site was selling them for.

Burly Leash

By: Backcountry.com Employee

These leashes aren't for the tame at heart. The clip is super burly and will rip the D-ring off your boots before it cuts loose. If you are like me and you hate looking down at a leash dragging in the snow after making a couple turns, then these are for you.
