Gerber Gator Combo Axe II w/ Saw - 2006

The Gerber Combo Axe II w/ Saw is a new and improved version of the popular Combo Axe. This lightweight axe has a longer handle than the previous Combo for improved striking force. Gerber's Gator texturing keeps your hands glued to the handle so you can chop safely. A durable wood saw slides right into the hollow section of the handle. The rest is filled with chopped glass fibers, making it incredibly durable and lightweight—a long, light handle means less chopping and less work. The Combo Axe II is an easy-to-pack, two-in-one addition to your necessary camping gear.

a handy camp tool

This lightweight and compact design works great. The saw, while small, is very sharp and cuts going both ways. The hand axe is very nicely balanced and not too heavy... would have been nice if it was a little sharper when it was shipped but that was easily fixed.
