Full Tilt Camo Ski Boot - Men's - 2007

Take the Full Tilt Camo Ski Boots out for a spin in the park and experience the comfort and control of this cult-classis three piece boot design. Full Tilt took Raichle's classic design and spec-ed it out for freeriders. Stomp that step-up without needle feet thanks to the Camo Ski Boot's shock-absorbing rubber foot bed. Full Tilt's Camo Intuition liner works together with the three-buckle shell to give you the best natural flex of any other boot on the market. The Camo Intuition liner actually comes heat molded to the shell for optimal integration and feel inside the boot—its also incredibly warm. Leave the park behind and push the Full Tilt Camo Ski Boot down the backside steeps and feel the smooth power of the Dual density firm tongue. From zero-spins in the park to big open lines in the back bowls the Camo Ski Boot epitomizes the term classic.

Bottom Line: The Full Tilt Camo Ski Boot takes you from the park to the back bowls in complete comfort and powerful control.

I bought a pair of these to replace my old Nordica W7.1's & have been very pleased with their performance & comfort. I heat molded them at home using a tutorial off Teton Gravity Research forums. Initially, the fit was a bit constrictive (compared to the cushy liners in my old boots), but they broke in nicely after 4 or 5 days of skiing. The custom fit liners are excellent - firm, but comfy & warm. The flex is about the same as my Nordicas (100 flex index) but much more progressive. They are about half the weight of my old boots & have a very natural flex. I think the flex characteristics of this boot have made me a better skier, and they completely eliminate shin bang! They are extremely easy to get into and out of. If you've got a pretty narrow, low volume foot, these are worth checking out. My only complaint is the cable closure system - it works just fine, but can be a bit harder to micro-adjust compared to conventional buckles.

I hope you can help me. I have not skied for about ten years

I hope you can help me. I have not skied for about ten years and own a pair of Raichle Flexons that are almost new. I will be skiing again and I am planning on purchasing a pair of high performance carving skis, I always skied with racing slalom or GS skis. From what I understand modern carving skis require a boot with a soft forward flex but stiff laterally. My question is, would my Flexons have an adequate/appropriate flex to allow me to ski a modern high performance ski successfully? will they be a good match?Thank you for the answer

Welcome back to the fold. Skiing missed you! Your boots are a classic design that has made a strong comeback thanks to die hards ripping on Flexons since their inception. Stick with them if they're still in good shape. All Full Tilt boots and the new Dalbellos are all based on the design of your Flexons. Some, if not all, Full Tilts are actually made on the same machines as the original Flexon. If you ski around for a few days and aren't stoked, no worries as any new boot you pick up will have virtually the same sole length as yours and you'll likely be able to adjust your bindings; no re-drilling necessary. Your boots are probably perfect though. Hope this helps and get after it this winter!
