Fritschi Diamir Ski Brakes - 2003

Fritschi Diamir Ski Brakes are a no-hassle alternative to ski straps and a safer choice when your backcountry travels take you into avalanche terrain. The standard brakes will fit up to 73mm - 86mm and the wide brakes will fit 87mm - 100mm wide skis.

these are a must, not only for safety, but for convenience. stay safe in avalanche terrain and eschew the straps that come with the bindings. better to lose a ski than get dragged down in an avalanche. and when you get to the ski area, just click and go.

Apparently ski patrol requires them. I couldn't bend my old brakes so I took 'em off. Had to buy these when I got kicked out of the lift line.

Not Needed for Pocket Rockets

The stock ski brakes for these bindings work fine and the wider is not necessary when using on Solomon Pocket Rockets. Heads up to the ordering department when recommending!
