FSA K-Force Light ME Road Compact Crank - 2008

FSA builds the K-Force Light MegaExo Compact Crank from carbon fiber, and in doing so, blows away your idea of how light and stiff a crankset can be. The hollow monocoque crankarms spin on ceramic bearings (in the included FSA MegaExo bottom bracket), maximizing every extra ounce you conserve by making the spendy switch to carbon fiber. CNC-machined 7075 aluminum chainrings give you the most direct, precise power transmission possible, putting every bit of effort right down on the pavement where it belongs.

Bottom Line: K-Force Carbon gives you killer speed.

FSA cranksets only come with english threaded cups. This crankset is only compatible with the FSA MegaExo BB-8200, which if you need an Italian threaded set will set you back ~$250 (for the bottom bracket alone).

High Cadence really helps up hills!

I bought this last week on Chainlove for ~$350. The install was pretty easy, the crank comes pre-greased. I tried it up some 15% grade hills and, where before i was doing under 60 rpm cadence, now I am doing 85-90!

You lose a little top end for the flats, but you gain much more ability to do hills in the saddle
