Flow Minx Snowboard Binding - Women's

Your local hill now charges three-months’ rent for a season pass, so it’s a good thing the Flow Women’s Minx Snowboard Binding gives you premium features for little dough. The Minx features the same ultralightweight baseplate and adjustable landing pads of Flow's premium bindings, and you'll feel the same generous support when you crank down the I-Flex strap. Rear step-in convenience and asymmetrical design are icing on the cake for this all-mountain freestyle performer. The Minx keeps you glued to your board as your confidence builds all over the slopes.

Bottom Line: Ride hard and still be able to afford dinner.

What's the difference between the Minx's I-Flex Powerstrap

What's the difference between the Minx's I-Flex Powerstrap and the 3D I-Flex Powerstrap (on the Essence)? It looks like that's the only difference between the two models, so is it worth the price difference to get the Essence? Thanks.

getting used to

I am still learning the best adjustment for these bindings. If you get the adjustment right, they work like a step in binding should. But if it not correct, you will experience difficulty in getting the back up with ease or feet being cold. I tend to cinch things tight for support, but these give plenty of support without being cinched as tight as a regular binding. They are very light for a step in. When using a rack for transport many boards, they often have to be place bindings up because is not enough room between the car and the rack. They look great and seem to show little wear.I am liking them more and more as I use them.

waiting to be impressed

Only bunny runs open, so no true test of their ability. A little irritated at the plastic buckles; they seem weak. Hard to fit boots just right for being able to not adjust just step in fit. Be patient. I will update as I am able to take some serious runs with them this year.
