First, this fabric is incredible. It's the most buttery-soft micro suede. I own this vest in black, and just bought the acorn color on SAC--can't wait to get it! This is one of those pieces I wear to work when I just want to be comfy and wish I'd stayed in bed, although it's equally at home out and about on the town!

This vest may not be universally flattering, but I have no problem with the shape. I'm large chested, so I never buy down vests because I don't need a ton of extra padding up there! This vest is a bit more curve-hugging and not as puffy, which I like.

There is so much to love about this vest--the resilient and ultra-soft fabric, the numerous pockets, the removable hood. My only issue is the hood is huge on me (and I don't have a small head). Maybe my shoulder:neck:head ratio is off, but this vest rides a little high on my shoulders, so when the hood is up there's way too much fabric over my head. The hood flops off all the time. But that's a minor issue for me. The fabric is wonderful, it's a really interesting piece of clothing, and getting it for $32 on SAC can't be beat!

This vest is great! The microsuede is so soft and the cut is flattering. A must have for fall!

Because of the where the elastic is placed on this vest-- it flattened places that shouldn't be flattened and was very roomy at the waist, it had a wierd effect on one's appearance. Too bad, because the fabric is gorgeous!
