I am currently living in the Middle East and have two of these pants. They can be dressed up or down and with lots of pockets are highly useful. I'm wearing a pair now and it's 111 F today. About as comfortable as anything can be in that heat. Also I spilled coffee down the leg and it did a reasonable job of not staining.

Overall very happy.
