Ex Officio Air Strip Lite Fine-Line Plaid Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's
The Ex Officio Men’s Air Strip Lite Shirt is Ex Officio’s top selling shirt for many reasons—its quick drying, moisture-wicking, UPF-treated fabric being just one of them. An Airomesh Plus –lined cape vent and Air Strip ventilation system work together to increase this travel shirt’s breathability. Pleated chest pockets and a hidden zip pocket keep your personal items close to the vest. Thanks to a wrinkle-resistant finish, the Air Strip packs without a fuss—although why pack such a versatile shirt when you could just wear it instead?
Bottom Line: You are now clear for take-off—happy traveling.

This shirt will make you look like you know what you're doing.
I dig it.

I have to say when I first got the shirt in my hands I though it was a little tech-y for just being a shirt. Then I used it and was amazed at how well it all works. Everything is there for a reason. We'll start at the top, the collar. 3 positions gives you max sun protection when all the way up, and pulls of the casual-ish dress shirt look when it is down, and the in-between providing a middle ground. Pockets will defiantly fit a fly box each, but I found it to be a it cumbersome and heavy. The security pocket is awesome, kept my fishing license and some cash safe and sound. Even if you were to take a dunk you won't loose what you keep in there. The gear loop holds your rod close to your body when rigging up a fly, or adding tippet/leader. The buttoned loops to hold the sleeves up is a nice feature. Long sleeve for sun protection, and short sleeve if you get warm or you reach in to unhook your fish. The UPF rating is also nice as I'm a red head and need as much protection from the sun as I can get. The vents also work well. One under each arm around the hip and the one in the back can be held open. Fit is a little on the bigger end of the scale. I'm 6'0 and 220 lbs, and I wear the large. It is not as snug around the chest and gut as my large Columbia shirts similar in style. It is cut long and looks a little goofy not tucked in, but this only adds to the shirts ability to cross over into the casual out on the town look. Great shirt I think I'll get another.
