My sister and I are going on a 3 week backpacking trip through Central America. We are planning to pack as light as we can, bringing only the essentials. Will this pack be large enough for our trip? We are also probably going to buy a lot of things along the way.

I purchased the travel pack for my wife to use as luggage. I have a similar pack, but quite a few years older and she wanted something similar. She really likes the design, color, and all the cup holders. The hidden zipper pocket is a nice tough as well, I didn't even notice it as first. I’m very glad I got it for her, she travels for business quite a bit, and she can be hands free the entire trip.

3800 cu in can hold a lot of stuff if you pack right. Of course I can't be the judge of how much stuff you are going to bring there and take back, but 3800 cu in seems about right. I've packed for 4 day trips with 2000 cu in and been fine so I think this will be a good fit.

Should be. I camped for 10 days out of a 42L pack, and that was with a sleeping bag, pad, etc. If you pack light, as it sounds like you will, this should have plenty of room.

That depends on how much you are bringing!This pack has a 3800 cu. in. total volume & is very capable of carrying several weeks worth of clothes, etc. If you're planning on backpacking in Alaska, you might want to consider a larger pack.
