The Eagle Creek Pack-It Half Cubes allow you to pack more efficiently, stay organized while traveling, and maximize your space. Store underwear and socks under the see-through, breathable mesh lid to keep them fresh, and stash your shirts and swimsuit on the other half. The Pack-It Half Cubes are also great for separating dirty items from clean. Invest in a few of these cubes and transform your suitcase into super organized dresser-drawers-away-from home. A quick grab handle gives you carrying convenience.
Bottom Line: Pack more with the Pack-It Half Cubes.
The size of this cube is perfect for loading up your socks and underwear on those longer trips. It's nice to have a couple so that you can transfer your used up dirty stuff into. The entire cube concept is super-duper nice for organizing your suitcase. Get them and you will not be disappointed.
Read my review for the full-size cube. This ones a bit smaller, and a bit less practical, but almost just as useful. Fits into an average to small suitcase, but wont fit into all those tiny suitcases people bring into airplane cabins. Helps keep things from getting wrinkled. Helps organize gloves, liners, and socks too!
I bought a few of these to pack my kids (2 & 3 yrs) clothes for a 2-week Christmas trip; when we got back Stateside I immediately ordered a few more because they were so useful. 1 color for each kid, keeps their different clothing items (T-shirts, long johns) organized and easy to find. The cubes also serve to "compress" clothes so that more can fit into a suitcase.
I use the Half Cube to pack the kids' change of clothes for the 10-hour flight from Europe, it made things easy to spot while keeping my carry-on organized.
The Half Cube is also useful in the diaper bag as diapers & wipes fit nicely in this size. The carry handle makes it easy to bring diapers and toddler into bathrooms without having the lug the entire bag.
Highly recommended, buy them in different sizes and you will find uses for them. We have at least 10 and that's still not enough!
Good to know some advice from traveling mothers. There are special gear challenges when traveling with children and this perspective is needed for some of us. I am leaving next month on an African Safari with my older three children, and I am going to order some of these cubes to keep their clothing and carry on items organized. Thanks
Another great idea from Eaglecreek. There's nothing more annoying to separate clean stuff from dirty stuff when you travel. With this smart container, Eaglecreek proposes a great solution. I use it for all my trips and it keeps all the clean items fresh from any "contamination" ;-). That's a great solution as well for a short business trip. It fits perfectly a backpack or a suitcase and will hold a shirt, underwear, socks and basic toiletry
After reading the reviews , we decided to try these out on a trip overseas. They are great, as advertised. Light weight, modular, very packable. Really helped in the organization department. The only problem was we didn't order enough of them. We have since ordered additional 'cubes' in various sizes.
Working in Mexico for a month. Traveling once/teice per week all over the country. Having an organized suitcase is essential. I used one half-cube for holding three night shirts and pajama pants. The other 3 pair workout shorts/t-shirts.
I now have several cubes; wouldn't travel without them. Neat, organized--no more pawing through stuff to find what you need only to find it--wrinkled. The dirty stuff segregated from the clean--folded, tidy. Terrific!
Took these babies on RAGBRAI and into the Colorado Rockies. Best way to keep your clothes organized when you have to dig through your pack or your panniers when you need something. Highly recommended for minimalist travelers. Get the larger version if you pack a lot.
The Pack-It Cubes by Eagle Creek work beter than advertised. They are sturdy; the mesh top allows good air circulation; they conform to the space you place them in; and they are versatile. I recently went on an 8-day trip which required both business and casual attire. I used the Pack-It folders and cubes-all worked great and saved quite a bit of space. The half cubes are perfect for socks, underwear, belts, miscellaneous items for your carry-on, and any other things you want to sort and find easily later. I bought several different colors, which made finding things after several days a snap. Highly recommended for any trips, short or long.
Worked well for my backpacking trip around Europe. My clothes were all neatly organized while others had their's strewn all over their bag. It compacted my stuff just as I had expected.
I highly recommend the Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube system when traveling in a large bag, especially duffels and backpacks. Keep your clothes from getting wrinkled and lost in the bottom of your bag with a couple of Pack-It Cubes of various sizes. The Half-Cube is a great size for a few shirts.
