The Eagle Creek Pack-It Half Cubes allow you to pack more efficiently, stay organized while traveling, and maximize your space. Store underwear and socks under the see-through, breathable mesh lid to keep them fresh, and stash your shirts and a towel on the other half. The Pack-It Half Cubes are also great for separating dirty items from clean or one person's clothes from another's. Invest in a few of these cubes and transform your suitcase into super organized travelin' closet. A quick grab handle gives you carrying convenience.
Bottom Line: Less is more with the packable Pack-It Cubes.
Shirts in one, pants in another, and they all stay neatly packed. Don't know how I ever traveled without them. Color code what you wear i.e. red (hot) for undies and cool blue for socks. I can pack my bag in a flash as everything is neatly contained and visible. Double sided lets you see whats in the bottom.
I used to have trouble keeping organized until I found this thing. Fits lots of clothing and gear (surprisingly), and does not add lots of weight to your bag. I sometimes just keep a pod or two around with different things as a grab-and-go bag for those last-minute ski weekends. Compact, and really useful. Just by one as Ed says.
these things are great for keeping organized while traveling. I use on for tops, one for bottoms, one for outerlayers (like fleeces) if neccesary, and one for undergarments. Your stuff never gets jumbled in your bag. I have hooked probably three people I have traveled with on these when they saw how helpful they were.
Excellent packing accessory, we use the Cube for adult shirts and blouses, and the Half Cubes for the kids, keeps everything organized and easy to locate. Best of all the Cubes help to compress clothes so we could pack more. Buy them!
This little bag holds six sets of skivvies for my trip to Canada. Nice and neat and fits along with it's two brothers in my travel bag. The others hold some board shorts and Sugoi long sleeved shirts. Makes things nice and organized
These are BOMB! I Like these more than the double sided cubes for most applications. I would rather not have to flip over the cube to see what is all in it. Also you can fit quite a a bit more in one of these than in one half of the double. Great construction and a pertinent for traveling!
i just got back from a trip to antarctica. i used many of these cubes in various sizes. it kept me organized and allowed rfor fast and easy access of my gear. just what you need when your toes are freezing and you need a pair of dry and warm socks. but many, you will not regret it.
High quality construction. Tough as nails zippers. The full cubes hold more than you'd guess. You can roll up 6 or 7 short sleeved Ts, a dozen socks, I've even gotten 3 pairs of field pants in there. I've used them to keep clean items separate from dirty items. To keep socks together. As an organizer for loose things in the backpack. Different colors for different tasks. Indispensable. Get some. Now. Do it.
I bought these for myself and my son for organizing small clothing in our packs. So much easier to reach in and pull these out of a pack instead of fumbling through looking for that pair of socks that you can seem to find, that always seems to be at the very bottom of your pack. Also allows you to pack much smaller to keep volume down in your pack.
I resisted these cubes for years and now wonder why I waited so long. This size holds enough winter weight pants and shirts for 2 weeks in Africa. Another in my carry-on holds a change of clothes, fleece jacket, and pajamas just in case the checked bag doesn't arrive when I do. I can find everything I need, pack everything I want in less space, and arrive feeling much less disheveled. Buy one. Or two, you'll use them.
This holds all of my electronics and chargers when traveling and helps keep my backpack organized. The only improvement I see that could be made with the pack-it cubes it to make a lightweight version; every ounce counts when carrying a backpack!
This is an incredible concept in packing. Think of it in terms of a moving van loaded with boxes. You pack and organize your clothes and gear inside the different sizes cubes and take advangage of every possible square inch of your suitcase, trunk bag etc. They also act like a compression system. The heavy duty zippers allow you to stuff a lot into a small amount of space. (I can easily fit 10 pairs of socks inside the medium cube), underwear etc. you can stuff into each cube. The cubes also come in different colors and sizes to allow you to customize your wardrobe with your size of your suitcase, backpack etc. For instance, I put my socks in the red medium cube and my underwear in the black medium cube. No more digging through your entire bag looking for your favorite pair of socks!
I recently took a trip with my husband and daughter to Australia, and these cubes saved our sanity! We only took one large bag, so I was able to assign everyone a color, and pack us all up. No fighting over whose was whose - it was super easy. And best of all, getting through security was a breeze. They could see what was in our bag without unpacking the whole darn thing! I was skeptical when I first saw these, but now I would recommend these to anyone!
For an organization-obsessed neat-freak like me, the Pack-It system is a godsend. Used to be, by the second or third day of a backcountry expedition, my duffel bag was an impossible tangle of gear and garb. With these cubes--pants in one, shirts in another, etc.--I can pull out one at a time, keeping the kit tidy with minimal effort.
I highly recommend the Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube system when traveling in a large bag, especially duffels and backpacks. Keep your clothes from getting wrinkled and lost in the bottom of your bag with a couple of Pack-It Cubes of various sizes. The full Half-Cube is great for several shirts, some shorts, and even a few pairs of pants depending on how you pack it.
Two of these handle all my skivvies and loose stuff and make finding things very easy. I've always rolled up sets of skivvies -Briefs, T shirt, socks. Now I just ine these up like sausages in my cube and I'm set for a week.
I was skeptical about the usefulness of a product like this so i only bought one packing cube to 'try out.' I went on a ten day trip and literally the only clothes i could ever locate efficently were the ones that fit in that cube. I am gearing up for a year long trek around the world and i've already ordered 3 more of these little guys. They make a huge pack manageable and keep things sorted. Its also amazing just how much you can stuff in one of these.
Packing cubes are awesome! 2 cubes this size will hold enough pants and shirts for a 10 day trip. 2 half cubes will hold socks and undergarments. The full cube was a bit smaller than I expected, but it will hold 4 pairs of pants. These cubes are a necessity for stress-free packing.
Have a variety of sizes and keeps everything organized and less wrinkled. Can live out of a pack or suitcase and be able to quickly get what you need. It always seems to me I can pack so much more in a smaller space when I use the packing cubes. Maybe that's not a good thing!
This was a great size for all of my 20-month-old's clothes for a 4-day winter getaway (5 thick shirts & pants, 2 jammies, & 5 pair of socks), with room to spare. The mesh makes it expandable so you can get more into it than it initially looks.
Can't wait to use it for our week away this summer. It'll definitely be large enough for that trip.
I bought several pack it cubes for a 3 week trip to Europe. At first I was worried because the cubes are smaller then I thought they would be... but after packing I realized they're the perfect size. I also used the pack-it half cubes and pack-it tube cubes to keep everything organized, they work great!! I will be using these for short weekend trips too, they make living out of a suitcase very easy.
Also, ordering from backcountry.com is the best, I always get my items FAST. :)
Before going on a 7 day trip to Italy and only using a carry-on, I thought "hey, why not try these cubes". Well, it was the best thing I did. You can cram all kinds of items in them and if you put shirts in, they don't wrinkle. The reason for this is that they stay put and don't move around in your luggage. I plan to buy more and use when traveling or even backpacking. It makes it easy to find what you want if you get different colors to color code your world. These cubes ROCK! You won't be disappointed.
Recently we travelled to Hawaii for my sisters wedding. My wife and I were mentally preparing (before the packing began) our gear/clothing list. Having 6 young children, we knew that there was the potential for needing a SHERPA to carry everything including the kitchen sink. While reviewing the luggage section at backcountry.com, we saw the Pack-It Cubes. "What a great idea!" We ordered a total of 18, 2 for each kid while my wife and I both got 3. Too make a long story short, they are awesome. Here are the benefits: -They force you to downsize what you take aka-just the essentials. -Packing/Unpacking is much easier. The cubes readily slide into your luggage as opposed to forcing stacks of loose clothing and articles into your bags. -Travel is cheaper(airlines charge for checked baggage). All of our clothing (for a family of 8) fit in 2 large rolling duffles (under 50 pounds). -Sorting clothing is easier for our large family. Each family member had their own color CUBEs. Hope this helps you make your decision. Good luck, Chris PS- My sister couldn't believe that we (a family of 8) had less luggage than she and her fiance.
Being a travel-o-holic I know the importance of an organized pack. In my opinion, this is one of the best products out there. Makes it really easy when you have those random inspections at the airport. And since they come in a whole bunch of sizes, you can pack everything under the sun...and still be able to find it!
Just returned from a weeklong trip to Chicago and Wisconsin's Door County. We took six cubes between the two of us... one for cleans, one for dirties, one for whatever. I've used these cubes for over four years on every trip I've taken, including backpacking trips. They're lightweight and REALLY compact your stuff. Love them!
Works great for keeping your bag organized. You can also use it for your dirty clothes at the end of a trip. Bought the quarter cube as well for smaller items.
